Vintage Hamilton Dodson Circa 1930's 10K Gold Filled Wrist Watch

This is a Hamilton "Dodson" circa 1930's dress wrist watch. This Hamilton watch has a manual wind mechanical Grade 987-A 17 jewel American made Hamilton movement. Movement serial number is O457628, which dates to 1947 according to the Pocket Watch Data Base. This is the same movement that was used in the Hamilton Military Ordnance Watch.

Case is 10K gold filled and is 27 mm wide (not including crown), 37.6 mm in length (lug to lug), showing only light signs of use and no wear through to brass. Exceptionally clean dial, hands, & glass crystal. Crown looks to have been replaced. 

Watch comes with a highly collectable 12K Gold Filled and Stainless Steel Band, made in U.S.A. the band has some wear but still looks very nice with the watch. 

This watch was recently serviced. On our professional timing machine, watch was timed to within 30 seconds a day on a full wind and has a clean trace and good amplitude on our machine. We recommend servicing every 2 years for best results.
