Vintage Elgin Shockmaster Boatswain 17 jewel Manual Wind Wrist Watch

Up for sale we have an Elgin Shockmaster Boatswain Wrist Watch that is circa 1950's. This model has an unusual and unique  "Golf Ball" dial and a red pointer tipped sweep second hand. Watch is dated on the back with initials and the year 1954.

Case has a 10K gold filled bezel and stainless back, showing almost no signs of wear on the bezel or top of lugs (please see photos). Crystal is clear, dial is in excellent condition. Case is 33.7 mm in diameter (not including crown) and 37.5 mm lug to lug. The 17 jewel manual wind movement is shock resistant. 

Watch has been timed on my professional machine & is in excellent running condition, keeping accurate time. Hard to find an example of this watch in this condition!
