Vintage Bulova Academy Award Z Wrist Watch Circa 1951 L1 10BM Movement *Serviced!

This is an excellent example of a 1951 Bulova Academy Award Z wrist watch.

The case with stepped sides is 10K Yellow Gold Filled. It is 25.3 mm wide (not including Bulova original crown) and a 35.3 mm length (lug to lug). 16mm lug width. Case shows very few signs of wear.

This model comes with a rare curtain pinstripe dial with distinct white trim halo around numerals to elevate contrast and legibility. Dial, hands, crown, and crystal are in very good original condition (please see photos). 

Watch movement is a 21 jewel 10BM Manual Wind Movement. 

Watch has been recently overhauled and is keeping time on our timing machine, within a 30 seconds a day. 

Watch comes with what looks to be the original alligator leather band with gold filled buckle. Band is a little warped but otherwise in good condition and hated to replace it!
