Vintage 1956 U.S. Military First Army Logo Volleyball Championship Wrist Watch

Up for sale we have an interesting piece of military history: a vintage 1956 wrist watch with a First Army insignia logo on the dial and Volleyball Championship inscription on the back. Movement is a 17 jewel Fortis Swiss mechanical (wind up) movement.

Watch is in very good condition with a nice army insignia logo dial, clear crystal, and original crown. Case is in good condition, there is some wear thru on top of lugs that does not detract from watch appearance. Please see photos.

Stainless steel snap-on back is inscribed with the following:

The watch is has been timed on our timing machine and is running and keeping reasonable time. When fully wound, watch was within a minute a day (dial up). Watch winds and sets fine.

Watch has been oiled but has not been fully serviced. We recommend servicing for best results.
