This item is a genuine (not reproduction) new old stock World War 2, circa 1945, US military issued watch band manufactured by the American Strap Company. This 14.3mm (9/16") wide band was made to fit some WW1 & WW2 watches and compasses. Measure between the watch lugs to determine the width you need. This band will substitute for a 5/8" wide band, but there will be a 1/16" gap. We also carry products that are 16mm (5/8") & 12.5mm (1/2").
